TOKYO - The best divers in the world are on their way to the Olympic Games to attempt to dethrone the dynasty that China has built in the sport in international competition.

China won seven of a possible eight gold medals in diving at Rio 2016 and is back once again as the heavy favorite on the online sportsbooks.

For the men’s competition, there are four events: a team synchronized dive off the 3m springboard, an individual dive of the 3m board, and then the same for the 10m board.

Odds for all these events show China and their athletes as the heavy favorites.
