theScore Solidifies Market Access For Online New Jersey Casino

  • theScore Bet and Twin River Holdings have announced a multi-year agreement on Thursday giving theScore the ability to offer online casino games in New Jersey.

TORONTO – On Thursday, the Score Media and Gaming announced that theScore Bet has secured a multiyear deal with Twin River Worldwide Holdings to operate an online casino in New Jersey.

The deal gives theScore Bet market access to operate the online casino product after receiving regulatory approval and licensing from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

The deal between the two companies is set to last for 10 years with the possibility of being extended by five years by theScore Bet and another five years that has to be agreed on by both parties.

“The addition of an online casino offering to our award-winning and truly differentiated mobile sports betting platform broadens our reach and deepens our strong portfolio of assets,” said John Levy, founder and CEO of theScore. “This is yet another step towards providing theScore’s media and betting patrons with a completely holistic and tightly integrated media and gaming experience.”

Twin River also has to complete the pending acquisition of Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino as part of the agreement and the firm will receive a percentage of theScore Bet’s operation revenue in NJ.

The company has previously had partnerships with Sporttrade and Esports Entertainment Group for sports betting and is now focusing on growing in the USA online gambling and casino industry.

They are anticipating that theScore Bet’s New Jersey online casino platform will be launched in any time in the second half of 2021.
