Bally’s Looks To Expand ‘Omnichannel’ Approach With Potential Gamesys Acquisition

They’ve made multiple offers to acquire different companies in different iGaming and online gambling-related interests.

The biggest one on the table for them is a potential acquisition of Gamesys Group for $2.7 Billion.

However, they’ve also approached Club Services, an online poker arm of Allied Esports Entertainment, about a possible acquisition.

Club Services runs the World Poker Tour, and could be a valuable acquisition for anyone looking into operating USA online poker in various states.

In addition, Bally’s finished up an acquisition of Daily Fantasy website Monkey Knife Fight, and announced a partnership with Major League Baseball.

So What Does This All Mean?

It speaks to a holistic approach from Bally’s, as they look to insert themselves in every possible way in the online gambling market.

They want to be involved in every area, from partnerships with the major sports leagues to online poker and everything in between.

As George Papanier, the CEO of Bally’s Corporation opined in a statement written for the Monkey Knife Fight acquisition:

“Entering the daily fantasy sports market is an integral component of our omnichannel approach and an important milestone for our Company as we continue our long-term diversification strategy.“

Omnichannel approach is a good way to describe it, as the company looks to not only diversify within the online gambling space but also to integrate themselves within it both vertically and horizontally.

This is a bold strategy, and USA online gambling enthusiasts could be using a lot more Bally’s related brands in the future due to it.
