LAS VEGAS - BetMGM has partnered with NYRA Bets to offer horse race wagering, marking a new development in their expansion into horse race betting.
With this partnership, the NYRA Bets platform and wagering options will be available on BetMGM’s horse racing app.
BetMGM has been diversifying their offerings in recent months, making sure that they can keep up with an ever expanding online gambling market.
Currently, they offer various casino and poker apps, as well as an online sportsbook, so the partnership with NYRA Bets seems like a logical extension of their strategy.
NYRA Bets is already available in 30 states, making it one of the more well known and widespread horse race betting apps.
It is the official online wagering platform of the New York Racing Association, which runs the Belmont Stakes.
The Belmont Stakes, third of the triple crown races, takes place on June 5, 2021, making the timing of this partnership notable.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt seemed quite enthused at the prospect of the deal in a statement released announcing it.
"We've found a great partner in NYRA Bets and look forward to working with them to create a thrilling, interactive experience for horse racing fans on BetMGM," said Greenblatt.
President of NYRA Bets Tony Allevato praised BetMGM as an expansionary force in online gambling.
