TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Since Nick Saban has taken over as the head coach at Alabama, the team has been thought of as nearly unbeatable with only a select few having a chance each season. However, history shows the team is not immortal as 11 schools are undefeated against the Crimson Tide.
Can Alabama Be Beaten This Year, By What Teams?
For as good as Alabama has been since Saban took over, they have only been able to complete two undefeated seasons.
This means that there will likely be a team that upsets the Crimson Tide this season. Online gambling sites will likely have the team favored in every game this season as they have the shortest odds to win the championship.
Alabama will be missing many pieces from last year’s undefeated team as Mac Jones, Najee Harris, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, Patrick Surtain II and Alex Leatherwood were all selected in the first round along with Landon Dickerson and Christian Barmore who were taken in the second.
However, Alabama is known for its elite ability to recruit the best players each year.

Could A Small School Pull Off The Unthinkable?
The obvious answer to these kinds of questions is no, until it happens. Of the 11 schools that are undefeated against Alabama, Carlisle, Centre College, Cumberland, Georgia Pre-Flight, Northern Illinois, Rice and Villanova make up a solid group of “little guys” that have yet to be beaten by the powerhouse.
