LOS ANGELES - The Kansas City Chiefs are the favorites to win Super Bowl LVI but a team could be getting home-field advantage for the second season in a row in the big game.

Super Bowl 56 Odds

  • Kansas City Chiefs +125
  • Los Angeles Rams +200
  • San Francisco 49ers +425
  • Cincinnati Bengals +900

Betting The Kansas City Chiefs

It’s important to know that betting on any of these teams to win the Super Bowl is essentially betting a two-leg moneyline parlay. Considering the Chiefs’ short odds, it brings the question of whether or not it’s worth it to the table. However, online gambling sites seem to leave enough value to make it worth the investment.

Kansas City is a big favorite in the AFC Conference Championship as they are -330 on the moneyline against the Cincinnati Bengals. This means that the Chiefs would need to have a -135 or longer line in the Super Bowl to have the hypothetical parlay reach +126.

Since they’re the favorites to win, they’ll likely be favored in any possible Super Bowl matchup if they were to reach it, and more likely than not they’ll have shorter odds than -135. This means the +125 odds are worth it.

Betting The Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams have beaten the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will now play the San Francisco 49ers who have been an underdog in each of their two playoff games this year. Last season, the Buccaneers played the Super Bowl on their home field and if the Rams can reach the Super Bowl this season, they’ll be playing in their home city as well.

The Rams are the NFC’s favorite as they are -175 on the moneyline against the 49ers and could very well have great value in both the Conference Championship as well as the Super Bowl on NFL betting sites.

Los Angeles has the best remaining defense in the playoffs as they have allowed just 271.0 yards per game. The most impressive part is that they’re giving up just 56.0 rushing yards per game which should match up well against the 49ers rush-heavy offense.

The +200 odds seem to be relatively good value as they’re likely to at least reach the Super Bowl and they’ll surely have shorter odds than +200 in a matchup against either Kansas City or Cincinnati.
