College Football Week 6 Odds Worth Betting On

  • The Michigan Wolverines are 3.0-point favorites against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
  • The UConn Huskies and UMass Minutemen will play one another on Saturday.
  • The Alabama Crimson Tide has -105 betting odds to cover the 18-point spread against the Texas A&M Aggies.

LINCOLN, Neb. – Betting lines are available for Week 6 of the college football season. Those looking to lock in bets before line movements take place should take a deeper look into specific games.

Michigan Wolverines Vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers

One of the first lines that may stand out on sports gambling sites is the game between the Michigan Wolverines and Nebraska Cornhuskers. The undefeated Wolverines are just a field-goal favorite against the Cornhuskers.

Michigan Vs. Nebraska Spread Odds

  • Michigan Wolverines -3.0 -120
  • Nebraska Cornhuskers +3.0 EVEN

Michigan is scoring more points, allowing fewer points, and won the last meeting between the two teams, 56-10. Getting in on this line before it moves to 3.5 or more could be incredibly useful as most sports bettors have been burned by the hook before.

The Wolverine’s defense ranks sixth in the country in defensive scoring with an average of 12.8 points per game but the game will likely be determined in the trenches. Nebraska averages 237.5 rushing yards per game this season. Michigan is 4-0 ATS this season while Nebraska has yet to cover as an underdog on the year.

The kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m. EST and can be seen on ABC.

UMass Minutemen Vs. UConn Huskies

There might not be a college football game this season worse than the one between the UMass Minutemen and UConn Huskies this weekend. If anyone betting on college football checks the bottom of the rankings for any stat category, odds are they’ll find at least one of these two teams at or near the bottom.

UConn is 125th in both scoring offense and defense while UMass is 128th in scoring and 130th in scoring defense. The Minutemen’s 120th ranked rushing attack will face the 120th ranked rushing defense while the 117th Huskies pass attack will see the 117th ranked passing defense. Both teams are equally as awful, which should make for an interesting game if nothing else.

UConn Vs. UMass Spread Odds

  • UConn Huskies -3.5 -110
  • UMass Minutemen +3.5 -110

Each team is winless on the season but somebody will have to walk out as a winner. In a game between what could very well be the two single worst teams in the country for CFB, take the underdogs plus the points, especially while losing by a field goal can still cover.

The game will start at 3:30 p.m. EST and can be streamed on FloFootball.

Alabama Crimson Tide Vs. Texas A&M Aggies

At the beginning of the season, this was set up to be one of the more exciting games of the year. Now that the Texas A&M Aggies have lost two games in a row, it now becomes an unranked matchup for the Alabama Crimson Tide, one in which they’re heavily favored.

Alabama Vs. Texas A&M Spread Odds

  • Alabama Crimson Tide -18.0 -105
  • Texas A&M Aggies +18.0 -115

Alabama has an average margin of victory of 27.4 points per game and has looked to be the most dominant team in the country. The Aggies have been struggling and this projects to be their third consecutive loss. The Crimson Tide have played a significantly tougher schedule and are performing better in every major statistical category. Online sportsbooks have the spread set at a large number, but possibly not large enough.

CBS will air the game starting at 8 p.m. EST Saturday.
