Dallas Cowboys Vs Kansas City Chiefs Is The Top Game To Target On DraftKings

  • The Dallas Cowboys Vs Kansas City Chiefs game has the highest total on the DraftKings slate at 56 points.
  • Both defenses rank in the bottom 10 of the NFL in yards allowed per passing completion.
  • Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott check-in as the fourth and fifth most expensive quarterbacks on the DraftKings slate respectively.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – All eyes are on the 4:25 p.m. EST game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

The Chiefs are hosting the Cowboys in Arrowhead Stadium, and have been tagged as 2.5 point favorites. This game has been given a hefty total of 56 points, making for a heavy target in all DFS formats.

Patrick Mahomes $7,600

Patrick Mahomes returned to form last week, throwing for 406 yards and five touchdowns. Mahomes is surprisingly the fourth most expensive QB on the DraftKings slate, despite being involved in the highest totaled game.

The Cowboys play primarily man defense; while it has been zone defenses with a double high safety look that have been giving the Chiefs the most problems on offense this year.

The Cowboys have not used this coverage scheme much at all this season, so it will be interesting to see how they adjust. The Cowboys rank 26th in yards allowed per completion this year. (12.0)

Dak Prescott $7,200

Dak Prescott checks in as the fifth most expensive QB which will be sure to drive his ownership up on all gambling sites.

Only 3 QBs (Taylor Heinicke, Jordan Love, Baker Mayfield) have failed to finish QB12 or better on the week when going up against the Chiefs. The Chiefs rank 24th in yards allowed per completion (11.9).

Expect to see a lot of “chunk plays” on Sunday with these poor passing defenses.

Ezekiel Elliott $7,700

Zeke has been held under 70 rushing yards the past four weeks, but his high touchdown expectancy rate keeps him in play at sub 8k.

Elliott holds great value in the pass game, ranking third in all routes run per drop back by the RB position. The Chiefs rank 23rd in receiving points per game allowed to running backs.

Tyreek Hill $8,200

Hill is coming off a 7-83-2 performance last week, and has seen at least nine targets in each of his past seven games.

Hill will stand to benefit if the Cowboys do come out in man defense, as they rank 31st (14.7) in yards allowed per catch to opposing wideouts.

CeeDee Lamb $7,600, Amari Cooper $6,200

Lamb comes at a slight discount from Hill, and will likely draw at least half of the ownership. Lamb has posted four straight top-20 scoring weeks at the WR position, solidifying himself as the more consistent option than teammate Amari Cooper.

While not as consistent as Lamb, Cooper is cheaper and has displayed two ceiling performances (29.2, 41.9) at WR this year in fantasy.

NFL gambling sites have given Cooper -115 odds to go over 61.5 receiving yards this weekend.
