- Hard Rock International and Scientific Games have expanded their partnership for iGaming and sports betting.
- Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GIG) and Hard Rock have agreed not to continue their business relationship.
- Hard Rock will use Scientific Games’ OpenGaming solution at the Hard Rock Casino apps and website.
LAS VEGAS – Scientific Games and Hard Rock International have officially expanded their partnership for sports betting content and iGaming technology.
This comes as Hard Rock and Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GIG) depart from their partnership. The departure was a mutual decision between GIG and Hard Rock.
Hard Rock Casino apps as well as the main HardRockCasino.com website will be powered by the iGaming software OpenGaming solution from Scientific Games.
Hard Rock And Scientific Games
Hard Rock will power all of its online casino offerings moving forward with Scientific Games iGaming software.
The gaming technology entity will start by expanding its OpenSports technology to Hard Rock retail sportsbooks. The expansion will start in Iowa and New Jersey where Scientific Games will be the exclusive provider of all the Hard Rock operated sportsbooks in these states
Following this, Scientific Games will then bring its OpenGaming solutions to the online casinos. This will start in New Jersey first with the Hard Rock Casino apps and website.

Following the New Jersey and Iowa implementations of the iGaming software, Hard Rock International plans to slowly launch the technology in its other markets.
