NFL DFS Week 5 Value Plays: Daniel Jones, Zack Moss, Hunter Renfrow

  • Daniel Jones is a viable option against the Dallas Cowboys’ defense.
  • Zack Moss has a favorable matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
  • Hunter Renfrow has become one of the top options in the Las Vegas Raiders offense.

LAS VEGASDaily Fantasy Sports is all about finding which undervalued players can overachieve in regards to their price. For Week 5, a couple of players are flying under the radar.

QB: Daniel Jones (FD: $7,400, DK: $6,000)

For as much criticism as Daniel Jones gets, he’s been a viable fantasy option all season long in all formats.

He’s thrown for 1,184 yards and four touchdowns while adding 188 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Most importantly, he’s only thrown one interception. Online gambling sites may be undervaluing him in Week 5.

  • FanDuel $7,400
  • DraftKings $6,000

He’ll be facing the Dallas Cowboys who are allowing the second-most passing yards per game at 315.3. Jones may not match his 400-yard performance last week, but there’s not much stopping him from getting close.

RB: Zack Moss (FD: $6,200, DK: $5,500)

Zack Moss started the season as a healthy scratch in the opener but has since become a valuable part of the Buffalo Bills’ offense.

He’s found the end zone in each of the last three weeks and has seen his workload steadily increase since Week 1.

  • DraftKings $5,500

Many will be scared away due to his competition for touches with Devin Singletary, but Moss has had more carries in each of the last two weeks and seems to be the top option on both the goal line and the in the receiving game, a rare combination to have as a running back.

He may be touchdown-dependent, but he’ll be in a game with the highest NFL total of the week at 56.5 points.

He’ll also be facing the Kansas City Chiefs defense that allows the third-most rushing yards per game at 146.0.

WR: Hunter Renfrow (FD: $5,800, DK: $4,900)

Hunter Renfrow has been one of the more consistent receivers in the NFL this season.

Despite not being thought of as a top choice in the Las Vegas Raiders’ passing game, Renfrow has logged at least five receptions in every game this season for a minimum of 45 yards. More importantly, he’s scored a touchdown in each of the last two weeks.

  • FanDuel $5,800
  • DraftKings $4,900

Renfrow is second on the team in both receptions and targets behind only Darren Waller. He provides a very high floor for DFS players while providing upside that not many at his price can match. Renfrow may be a more conservative play, but one that could pay off.
