LAS VEGAS - New Jersey’s online sports betting market has gotten a little more crowded.
Scientific Games has partnered with Golden Nugget Online Gaming to launch Golden Nugget’s mobile sports betting app in New Jersey, another win for USA online gambling.
The app is currently available to residents of New Jersey, and will allow them to place wagers on sports while inside the state.
Golden Nugget and Scientific Games are fresh off of a launch of their Michigan app and are looking to keep the ball rolling with this New Jersey announcement.
As far as this partnership with Scientific Games, the two plan on opening a similar app in Pennsylvania later in the year.
The President of Golden Nugget Online Gaming, Thomas Winter, issued a statement:
“Scientific Games’ OpenSports platform has a well-deserved reputation for being robust and scalable and our initial experience in Michigan, amid a very busy sporting period, has been positive. As we expand together across the U.S., we are delighted to enter the next phase of our partnership in New Jersey, where players will be able to enjoy an upgraded betting experience and advanced product features such as Bet Builder, Parlay Boosts, Daily Enhanced Odds (Golden Lines, Notorious Vig), Quick Parlays, Same-Game Parlays, Cash Out and promotions such as Next Bet On Us!”
In addition, Cathryn Lai, a SVP at Scientific Games, and the GM of their U.S. Digital division, was quoted as saying the following:
“Golden Nugget’s launch in New Jersey represents an exciting and important milestone in a partnership that we believe will flourish right across the U.S. moving forward. It serves as a testament to the power of OpenSports, which is ready to take the player offering in the Garden State to new heights.”
With both parties seemingly enjoying their partnership, and Pennsylvania likely in the near future, there could be more good news to come for sports bettors as Golden Nugget and Scientific Games continue to work together.
