  • Terry McLaurin’s longest reception total is set at 24.5 yards.
  • Sam Darnold has +220 odds to score a rushing touchdown in Week 5.

LAS VEGAS – When looking at the Week 5 schedule of NFL games, there are more than just game lines to them. There are tons of different player props bets to take into account that could offer great payouts.

Two players that have notable player prop odds on online gambling sites including Terry McLaurin and Sam Darnold.

Terry McLaurin – Longest Reception

  • Over 24.5 -115
  • Under 24.5 -115

Terry McLaurin is emerging as one of the NFL’s best wide receivers as he is in the midst of a breakout season. With that, McLaurin is no stranger to making big plays for big yardage which is why the Over for his 24.5 longest reception total should be taken by any means necessary.

McLaurin has been making long receptions since he first entered the league.

In his 33 career games, he has made a reception longer than 24.5 yards 19 times. In the last two weeks, McLaurin has caught four passes that have gone Over and three of those four catches have come from him lining up on the left side of the field.

McLaurin also has a great matchup this week against the New Orleans Saints who allowed three opposing receivers to hit the Over in Week 4.

With that, taking the Over on McLaurin’s longest reception could be one of the locks of the week.

Anytime Touchdown Odds

  • Sam Darnold +220

One of the biggest surprises of the season has been the emergence of Sam Darnold. Not only is Darnold getting work done passing the ball with 1,189 passing yards and five passing touchdowns, but he has been lethal when running with it.

Darnold has just 52 rushing yards on the season but has recorded a league-leading five rushing touchdowns.

Darnold has rushed for two touchdowns in each of the Carolina Panthers last two games and in his matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, he should be able to add at least one more. The Eagles have allowed opposing quarterbacks to run for 20 or more yards on two separate occasions and have allowed one QB rushing touchdown this season as well.

With Christian McCaffrey listed as questionable for the game, now is the time to take advantage of these odds on NFL betting sites before they get any shorter.
