While it is easy to pick on Notre Dame, they are favored over Oklahoma State for a reason and the 2-point spread should be considered a gift. Although both teams have done a similar job against the spread, Notre Dame is covering the spread by 8.5 points on average and is winning their games by 17 points.

As for the Cowboys, they are only covering the spread by 5.8 points. Looking even further, Notre Dame has covered the spread in seven straight games while Oklahoma State has failed to cover in their last two.

  • Moneyline: Michigan State (-140) vs. Pittsburgh (+120)

  • Total: 56.5 Points

Many are quick to flock to Michigan State to win based on the name alone, however, Pittsburgh is one of the hottest teams around. They are the third highest-scoring team in the country with 43 points per game. That is 11.1 points more than the Spartans are putting up. Pitt is also allowing 23.1 ppg to opponents while MSU has allowed 25.7.

Pitt is riding high coming off of the ACC Championship and could take advantage of a Michigan State team that has lost two of their last four games.

Pick: Pittsburgh Moneyline +120

Sugar Bowl: Ole Miss Vs. Baylor

Ole Miss Vs. Baylor

  • Moneyline: Ole Miss (-120) vs. Baylor (+100)
  • Spread: Ole Miss -1
  • Total: 55 Points

This Sugar Bowl matchup between Ole Miss and Baylor is expected to be heavy-hitting. Both teams are putting up over 30 ppg this season. However, Baylor could come in with the advantage despite being an underdog. The Bears have gone 9-4 against the spread and are covering by 7.1 points while winning their games by 13.3 points. They have also covered in three of their last four games. Mississippi is well behind at a 7-4-1 spread record and are covering by just 2.8 points.

The Baylor defense has also held their own this season as one of the best in the country allowing 19.2 ppg. If their defense continues to show up as it has been, they could be walking away with an impressive win.
