Gaming Company MediaTroopers Receives Arizona License To Operate

PHOENIX - Arizona has approved MediaTroopers for a temporary license as a sports betting supplier in the state.

MediaTroopers is an online gaming agency that works to provide services to state-licensed gaming companies and venues.

With the receipt of a Temporary Event Wagering and Fantasy Sports Supplier permit from Arizona, the company is now active in 13 US states.

Arizona: Sports Betting Up And Running

Arizona recently launched regulated sports gaming on the state level with the launch happening just as the NFL season kicked off.

On NFL opening day, Gov. Doug Ducey kicked off the sports wagering industry going live in Arizona by visiting Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, for the opening of Caesar’s Sportsbook at the stadium.

In Arizona, 10 sports betting licenses were handed out to tribal gaming entities, and eight more of a potential 10 were given to sports venues for sportsbooks.

The Arizona Cardinals played on Sunday in Tennessee, so Ducey was unable to kick off sports betting in their stadium, but Chase Field was a solid place to do so as well.
