Mega Million Jackpot Breaks $400 Million After No Winners

  • The Mega Millions jackpot has hit the $400 million mark for the 19th time in the history of the lottery game.
  • There has not been a Mega Million jackpot won since January, but four jackpots were hit during that month.

ATLANTA – There is still time to win big on Mega Millions as the jackpot has now surpassed $400 million for gamblers in 45 US states. This is only the 19th time in the history of Mega Millions that the prize has hit this magnitude and January was the last time that the jackpot was hit.

Outside of online gambling sites, this is one of the easiest ways to get in on some action and test your luck for winning big with an estimated $221 million up for grabs in cash.

Even though the jackpot has not been won in three months, people are still winning big on their lottery entries throughout the US. There have already been 16 tickets to cash out one million dollars since the jackpot started building up.

There were also many big winners Tuesday night, with over 800,000 winning tickets across all of the different prize levels, including 16 tier-three prizes. The Megaplier was used three times Tuesday night and helped four ticket holders win $30,000 for matching four white balls and the mega ball.

While it may feel like it has been a long time since a jackpot has been won, there was plenty of cash given away during January 2023. A total of four jackpots were hit from the Mega Millions during January. April could be the month it kicks things off once again. There was a $110 million Mega Millions jackpot won in April of 2022 that came from a ticket in Minnesota.
