Odds Say Oregon Will Remain Only State With Legal ‘Shrooms

  • Oregon is currently the only state in which Psilocybin is legalized.
  • There are -350 odds on the UNDER 1.5 states with it legalized at the end of 2022.

PORTLAND, Ore. – There is currently only one state in which Psilocybin is legal and the odds suggest that won’t change until at least 2023.

Will Another State Legalize Magic Mushrooms?

The state of Oregon is the only state in which Psilocybin, or magic mushrooms, is legal. Believe it or not, online gambling sites have released betting odds on whether it will become legal in any other states before the end of the year.

How Many States Will Psilocybin Be Legalized In At End Of 2022 Odds

  • OVER 1.5 +225
  • UNDER 1.5 -350

The bet states that it can be legalized for either medicinal or recreational purposes and that Oregon already counts as one of the states. This means just one more state would need to legalize mushrooms before the end of the year for the +225 odds to hit.

There is currently a bill in the state of Washington that could get passed which would legalize Psilocybin and California has already seen bills be looked at that would legalize it as well. Even Florida and New York have filed psychedelics reform bills as of late, showing it may be more possible than the odds on sportsbooks suggest.

Any bettor in a state where Psilocybin may be legalized could potentially bet on the OVER, and then use their winnings to take advantage of the new legalization.
