  • Stetson Bennett’s passing yard total is set at 279.5 yards.
  • Max Duggan has -115 odds to go over 29.5 rushing yards.

LOS ANGELES – The National Championship game between the Georgia Bulldogs and TCU Horned Frogs features a quarterback battle between two of the nation’s top QBs in Stetson Bennett and Max Duggan. Both of them have several prop odds to take advantage of.

Some examples of QB props on online gambling sites include their total passing yards, total number of TDs thrown, and even total rushing yards.

Stetson Bennett Prop Odds

Total Passing Yards – Stetson Bennett

  • Over 279.5 -115
  • Under 279.5 -115

Total Passing Touchdowns – Stetson Bennett

  • Over 2.5 +160
  • Under 2.5 -110

Bettors should be running to take the over on Bennett’s college football player props odds being that he has shown that he is not shy of slinging the ball this season with 3,823 yards for the year - the ninth most in the country.

In 14 games that he’s played this season, he has gone over the 279.5 mark a total of eight times including a season-high 398 yards in the playoff game against Ohio State. It’s also worth noting that TCU is coming off of a semifinal game against Michigan where they allowed J.J. McCarthy to throw a career and season-high 343 yards.

As for Bennett’s touchdown total, the +160 odds might look enticing, but 2.5 is just too high of a number for him considering he has gone over just three times this season. The Bulldogs running back, Kenny McIntosh, and the rest of the running game for Georgia have put up a whopping 39 touchdowns this season. McIntosh alone had 10 while Bennett himself put up eight. That said, taking under on his TD total seems like an easy bet to make.

Max Duggan Prop Odds

Total Passing Yards – Max Duggan

  • Over 240.5 -114
  • Under 240.5 -115

Total Rushing Yards – Max Duggan

  • Over 29.5 -114
  • Under 29.5 -115

Max Duggan has had his best year of his career this season having finished in the top 20 in passing yards (3,546) and is on pace to hit well over 240.5 in the National Championship game. While Georgia’s defense has been one of the best in the country this season, they have let opposing QB’s torch them in their last seven games.

In those games, four of them have gone for over 240.5 yards including 348 yards from C.J. Stroud in the playoff semifinal. Duggan has also shredded the over mark this season with 9 of 14 games going over 240.5 passing yards.

His rushing yard total on Bovada is set especially low in this one which should be taken advantage of at all costs with the upside he offers on the ground. He’s gone over 29.5 in six of 14 games. However, his last four games have been on fire with 50+ yards in three of them including a 110-yard outing in the Big 12 Championship game.
