Sunday Night Football Best Player Props And Odds

  • Jonathan Taylor’s rushing attempts total is 15.5 with -120 odds on the UNDER.
  • Michael Pittman Jr.’s reception total of 3.5 has -150 odds on the OVER.
  • Carson Wentz has a -115 betting line on his OVER 205.5 passing yards.

SAN FRANCISCO - The Sunday Night Football game between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers has multiple player prop betting lines worth wagering on.

Jonathan Taylor Rushing Attempts: UNDER 15.5

For as good as Jonathan Taylor has been this season (5.5 yards per carry), the Indianapolis Colts do not use him as much as they probably should. He’s had more than 15 carries just twice this season, yet online gambling sites have his total set at that mark.

Jonathan Taylor's Rushing Attempts

  • OVER 15.5 -110
  • UNDER 15.5 -120

The San Francisco 49ers have the eighth-best rush defense in the NFL which could result in the Colts relying on Taylor even less than usual. Taylor’s total rushing attempts have ranged from 10-17 through six games, showing there’s more room on the UNDER than the OVER.

Michael Pittman Jr. Receptions: OVER 3.5

Michael Pittman Jr. has had at least six receptions in four of the six games this season and is averaging 5.2 catches per game overall. However, those betting on the NFL can find his total at just 3.5, albeit with short odds on the OVER.

Michael Pittman Jr.'s Receptions Total

  • OVER 3.5 -150
  • UNDER 3.5 +120

Pittman Jr. has benefitted from a large number of targets with an average of 7.7 per game. He’s hauling in an impressive 67.4% of his targets meaning that he will not need many to hit this OVER. Plus, T.Y. Hilton has been ruled out, meaning there should be more opportunities to go around.

Carson Wentz Passing Yards: OVER 205.5

It’s not often that a player prop line is flat-out disrespectful, but that seems to be the case for Carson Wentz and his passing yards. He’s averaging over 50 yards more per game than his listed total on online sportsbooks.

Carson Wentz's Passing Yards

  • OVER 205.5 -115
  • UNDER 205.5 -115

Wentz is averaging 257.8 passing yards per game and has had more than 206 yards in five of his six games this season. Even with San Francisco having an above-average passing defense, 205.5 seems rather low for someone who’s constantly going OVER that number.

The 49ers have allowed three quarterbacks to go over this mark in their three games, most recently Trey Lance did so in his first career start. Wentz shouldn’t have much of an issue doing so as well.

NBC will have coverage of the game at 8:20 p.m. EST on Sunday.
